LCTS is a single research team gathering varied and complementary skills to address the diverse issues raised by the synthesis of carbon and ceramic-matrix composites and their use in highly demanding conditions.

The team has a compliant and agile organisation scheme. The unit includes transverse and technical service units in support to a research activity structured in four main themes.
The decisions are taken by the Director in accordance with the Scientific Deputies of both non-academic stakeholders and the consultative Laboratory Council.
The administrator manages several strategic aspects of the lab’s life such as budget, accounting, communication and patrimonial protection.
